Landsman Community Services Ltd was incorporated in 1984 to support and to keep accounts for a programme of LETSystem development. Since then, many people, companies and other organisations from around the world have made contributions to this project.
The company, which operates as a LETShare, is co-ordinated and directed by Michael Wade Linton.
Soon after its inception, the company broadened its purpose to include the design and development of further appropriate tools for community support, including organisational systems for land societies and community banking.
Other projects in various stages of progress include 2020 VISION, the Whole Thing, and Windseeker.
Born in England, in 1945; childhood in Scotland, near Glasgow and the Firth of Clyde; schooling in Scotland; university at Cambridge, London, and Sussex; MBA from Cranfield; Alexander Technique training in London.
Work experience includes engineering, programming, construction, teaching, driving, fishing, retail management, skiing, manufacturing, Alexander work, and - since 1983 - community systems design.
